Eligibility and your responsibility
By using this website and placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into a binding contract, and using the site for personal, non‑commercial purposes. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when you create an account, place an order, or contact us, and to keep your login details secure and confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account or using your email/phone on this website.
Our products and information
We design, describe and photograph our perfumes and discovery sets with care, but scent is a subjective experience and can vary based on skin chemistry, storage and environment. Any descriptions, notes, wear‑time or other performance claims are our honest best understanding, not a guarantee of identical experience for every person. Colours of bottles, boxes and visuals may look slightly different on your device compared to real life. We reserve the right to change or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.
Pricing, offers and Discovery Set credits
All prices on the website are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless clearly stated otherwise. We try to keep pricing accurate, but in case of an obvious pricing error we may cancel or refuse an order and contact you to offer a refund or a corrected price before proceeding.
From time to time we may offer launch prices, discount codes, Discovery Set credits or social‑share rewards. Details of each offer, including eligibility, value, duration, how to redeem and whether it can be combined with other offers, will be described on the relevant page or communication. Our Discovery Set credit currently allows a customer who has purchased our Echoes of You Discovery Set to receive a fixed rupee discount when buying full‑size bottles, with the exact amounts and conditions explained on the Discovery Set and policy pages; these structures may change for future orders without notice. Discovery Set credits and promotional coupons have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be limited to one per order or per customer. If we suspect misuse, fraud or abuse of any offer, we may cancel or limit that offer at our discretion.
Orders and acceptance
When you place an order on the website, you are making an offer to buy the selected products under these Terms. You will receive an order confirmation email after checkout; this confirms that we have received your order, but it does not mean we have accepted it. A binding contract is formed only when we dispatch the products and send you a shipping confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for reasons including stock availability, suspected fraud, incorrect pricing or technical errors, or if we reasonably believe the order is not genuine. In such cases, any payment received will be refunded to your original method of payment.
Payment
We use third‑party payment gateways to process payments securely and do not store your full card or UPI details on our own systems. By providing payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use that payment method and that the details are correct. If a payment is declined or reversed after dispatch, you remain responsible for paying the full amount of the order. In case of technical issues or duplicate charges, please contact us and we will work with the payment provider to resolve the issue.
Shipping, delivery and risk
We currently ship within India, using one or more courier partners. Estimated shipping fees, delivery timelines and serviceable pin codes are shown during checkout or in our Shipping information. These timelines are estimates only and may be affected by factors beyond our control such as courier delays, strikes, weather, or regulatory checks. Risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you once the order is delivered to the address you provided. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please take photos and contact us as soon as possible so we can raise it with the courier and arrange a replacement where appropriate.
Returns, refunds and replacements
Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms and explains in more detail how returns and refunds work on The Sensory Date. In summary, you may request a return or refund within 7 days of delivery, and even used perfumes may be eligible for a full refund of the product value minus shipping costs, as described in that policy. If there is any issue with the quality of the perfume, or the order arrives broken, leaking or with missing items, we will arrange a replacement at no extra cost once we have reviewed your request and any photos or videos provided. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable time after we receive and inspect the returned product, subject to bank or card processing times. By placing an order, you agree to follow the process set out in the Returns & Refunds Policy.
Accounts, content and acceptable use
If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for restricting access to your device. Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. You agree not to use the website for any unlawful or harmful purpose, including attempting to interfere with the website’s security, scraping our content, using automated bots to place orders or harvest data, posting abusive or misleading reviews, or impersonating another person. We may suspend or terminate access to the website, or cancel orders, if we reasonably believe there is misuse or suspicious activity.
Intellectual property
All content on the website, including text, brand names, logos, graphics, photographs, videos, bottle designs and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Krivva and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark and design laws. You may browse the site and print or download small portions of content for your personal, non‑commercial use, but you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, sell or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission. “The Sensory Date” and related names, logos and taglines are our brand identifiers; you may not use them in a way that could cause confusion or suggest endorsement without our consent.
Reviews, comments and user content
If you submit reviews, comments, photos or other content to us or the website, you grant us a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to use, reproduce, publish and display that content in connection with The Sensory Date, including on our website, social media and marketing materials, in any media now known or later developed. You promise that any content you share is your own original work or that you have permission to use it, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that it is not defamatory, offensive, illegal or infringing on any third‑party rights. We are not obliged to publish or keep any user content and may remove or edit it at our discretion.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
We do our best to keep the website accurate, available and secure, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not make any warranties or representations, express or implied, about the website or the products, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error‑free operation, or that the website will always be free from viruses or harmful components.
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of the website or purchase of our products will be limited to the total amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, such as loss of profits, loss of data, or emotional distress, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Krivva, The Sensory Date, and our directors, employees and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.
Disclaimer
Fragrances are based on active extracts and ingredients and damage due to neglect, improper usage, or wrong application will not be covered under this Policy. This also does not cover repercussions arising out of specific sensitivities towards a product/ ingredient, and you are advised to do patch tests before first use.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the website, your orders or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi / Ghaziabad, India, to the extent permitted by law. Before approaching court, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
Changes to these Terms
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our business, products, website functionality, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the bottom of this page, and we may also display a notice on the website. Your continued use of the website after any changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the website and, if applicable, close your account.
